Tightened it to the point where the buttons stopped rocking and the plastic clamp split. Maybe I overdid it but it shouldn't be that fragile on a part that lives on your bars.
The housing should not fracture when tightened to the point at which the controls stop moving, so we do not consider this to be excessive force on your part. The clamp is being redesigned in aluminium. A replacement remote is in transit to you now. — Tyler B., Riden Customer Support

Does the job, plastic housing feels cheaper than the display it controls. Battery has been fine so far.

Buttons do what they do and they do it well. I'd love to remap one of them to jump straight to the camera view.

It's four buttons and a bluetooth chip. Works fine. Feels like it should either cost fifteen dollars or do more.

Worked for about six weeks then it would only connect maybe one ride in three. New battery didn't help. Support suggested a reset which worked twice and then stopped working.
A remote that connects on one ride in three is not serviceable. A replacement was dispatched today at no cost and there is no need to return the original. Bit of a fiddle to get it in exactly the right spot without fouling the clutch lever. Once positioned, excellent.

This is the real reason to buy it. Touchscreens and thick gloves don't mix. Physical buttons don't care how cold it is.

Skipping tracks and zooming the map without letting go of the grip is the difference between glancing at the display and reaching for it. Should honestly be in the box with the main unit.
